Lasst denn Blick auf der Gipfelplattform über die umliegenden Berge schweifen, rutscht im T-Shirt durch die Schneereste rund um den Gletscher und stärkt euch im Bergrestaurant mit einem Abenteuerspielplatz direkt vor der Türe.
Dabei ist schon die Auffahrt ein echtes Highlight: Die beeindruckende 3S Eisgratbahn bringt euch im Flug hoch zum Gletscher. Und wer die Stubai Super Card im Rucksack hat, fährt sogar kostenlos mit der Gondel hoch und wieder runter. Die Stubai Super Card bekommen Übernachtungsgäste in den Partnerbetrieben ab der ersten Nacht und profitieren neben den Bergbahnen auch noch von vielen weiteren Vergünstigungen.

Bringing your little ones along to the Stubai Glacier is going to be an amazing experience! They’ll love exploring the incredible ice and snow. This moon-like landscape is just as impressive for young and old alike! Because, let’s be honest, where else can you slide through the snow in a T-shirt in the middle of summer? And there’s more! The new wooden track caterpillar and the huge mammoth Wolli on the adventure playground are an instant eye-catcher for all children’s eyes.
Another must is the summit platform TOP OF TYROL at 3,210 metres above sea level. From here you have a beautiful panoramic view over the surrounding Alps. The short walk to the platform is definitely worth it, because the view is simply spectacular.
After all that fun, you deserve a little break! Right at the mountain station of the Eisgratbahn, there’s a lovely little restaurant serving up delicious local treats. And while you’re enjoying a coffee in the sun, you can watch the kids having a blast on the adventure playground in front of it.
Source of motivation for kids: collecting stamps on the Stubai Glacier and throughout the Stubai Valley
You’ll find stamps at the huts and various stations on the mountain, and the more you collect, the more you can add to your special stamp collection card. Once they’ve collected 10 stamps, they’ll be presented with a bronze medal. Then it’s on to silver and gold! It’s a wonderful way to remember the incredible days they’ve spent in the mountains.
