Many a Viennese will tell you that when they see the lake, they don’t need the sea anymore! We totally get it now that we’ve discovered the amazing Neuer Strand lido on Lake Neusiedl! This place is just wonderful! It’s perfect for relaxing and having fun, and it’s loved by both parents and children.
For the little ones, there are lots of playgrounds, green meadows and shallow water to play in for as long as they like. Sand has even been piled up in places and the entrance to the lake actually feels like the sea! It’s the perfect place for a fun day out with the family.
What can parents look forward to at the ‘Neuer Strand’ lido on Lake Neusiedl?
Oh, absolutely! It’s all about the delicious culinary variety! The lovely Libelle restaurant on the upper floor of the new Marina building has space for up to 160 guests, both indoors and outdoors. Here, families can tuck into some delicious dishes that bring together the best of soul food and Asian flavours. The menu is inspired by the region and changes with the seasons, so there’s always something new to try! And there’s more! The beach bar offers refreshing drinks and tasty snacks right by the water, also using local produce.

We put a lot of thought into making sure the construction of our seaside resort was as eco-friendly as possible. We replanted areas that had already been used to suit the climate, which helps to protect and promote the natural environment. We also have a clever water system that helps us to use resources sparingly.
