1. High hiking along the Zwergenweg

Park the car at the Obergeschwend car park and off you go! The adventure begins with the ascent via the Zwergenweg, which takes about an hour. Of course, you can also cover the route in a record-breaking 40 minutes, but if you are traveling with children, you should remain realistic. The path to tobogganing in Bad Hindelang with children meanders through snowy forests and open fields, while majestic peaks rise on the horizon. Wherever dwarfs appear in all possible forms, the children can take a small shortcut through the forest. This ensures sufficient entertainment on the way up to the Buchelalpe. The fresh mountain air and the silence of nature accompany the hike and make it an unforgettable experience.

2. Reward in the Buchelalpe while tobogganing in Bad Hindelang with children

The efforts of the ascent are rewarded in the Buchelalpe, which is characterized by its biological management and cozy atmosphere. Here you can strengthen yourself with savory soups, delicious sandwiches and homemade cakes. The dishes are prepared from regional, fresh ingredients and offer an authentic taste of the Allgäu cuisine. Attention, it is only cash payment possible! A highlight of the Buchelalpe is undoubtedly the breathtaking view, which extends in front of the guests. Snow-covered peaks from the Allgäu to Tyrol and the pure beauty of nature create a backdrop that makes every meal a special event. In front of the Alpe, the children can play in the snow while the parents still enjoy a coffee in the sun.

3. Toboggan descent in the monkey tooth

After the deserved break, the most exciting part of the tour awaits: the fast sled descent back to the parking lot. The route has no dangerous sections, but at one point an imposing stone wall on the left accompanies you. Caution is advised here. One more reason why bringing a helmet is recommended, especially if children are included. Otherwise, however, the route is really easy to drive and brings a large portion of fun and action for everyone.

Pack your sleds, grab the family and experience the magic of tobogganing in Bad Hindelang in winter! You can find even more excursion destinations in the Allgäu here.
