If you visit the St. Martins Therme with children, you can directly kill two birds with one stone. Namely water fun and spirit of discovery! On 150 m², in addition to the children’s paradise of slides and various swimming pools, a unique research station awaits you in the St. Martins Therme, in which you can work, experiment and, of course, explore and discover the fascinating nature. The dream for all kids who are interested in nature, animals and the environment.

But from the very beginning. How does the thermal spa get to the research station? The Neusiedl See area is characterized by a colorful mosaic of natural habitats, especially by the shallop, salty waters of the Seewinkel.

It is obvious that animals and plants also play a major role in the thermal area. By the way, a small “zoo school” has been created over the years. The local eco-educators take you into their fascinating world, which almost feels like in the jungle, with plants hanging from the ceiling, huge insects, frogs of all colors and a terrarium to crawl in.

The kids devote themselves to exciting research tasks while the parents relax in the sauna.

In the workshop, parents and children can get creative together. In addition, the research station offers a daily children’s program. This is prepared with so much heart and soul that you can retreat relaxed towards the sauna. Meanwhile, the kids feed and caress the rabbits of the research station, take a closer look at frogs, have their hands cleaned by fish or research an exciting natural topic. They are accompanied by trained biologists or paleontologists who can simply tell the best stories about each animal. With the kids, they really leave an impression and here and there completely new career aspirations suddenly come to the fore.

This makes the spa with children an experience for everyone. Parents have the opportunity to spend some time in the adult area, i.e. the sauna landscape, while the kids spend the time of their lives in the research station and combine adventures with bathing.

If you like, extend the visit to the spa with children and stay in the corresponding St. Martins Lodge. This is also a great experience, all in itself. Because due to the proximity to the Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park, you feel like you are on safari there and do not have to drive for a long time. For families, there is space in spacious family rooms and culinary highlights in the associated restaurant. You can find even more favorite places in Burgenland with children here.
